Interview: Allan Clarke of The Hollies - In Depth Career Retrospective - 2024

In this episode of the LEGENDS: Podcast by All Day Vinyl, host Scott Dudelson sits down with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, co-founder and lead singer of The Hollies, Allan Clarke.

We  dive deep into some of Anderson's most impactful productions including his work with Dwight Yoakam, Roy Orbison, Meat Puppets and an incredible story of playing in a band with legendary session drummer Jim Gordon weeks before Gordon tragically killed his mother in 1983.

Interview: Legendary Drummer Matt Sorum On Working With Billy Gibbons, Guns N' Roses, Lemmy, The Cult & More

Our chat spans a wide range of rock and roll topics including Sorum's work with Billy Gibbons, including producing Gibbons' 2021 solo album 'Hardwire,"  Sorum's friendship with Lemmy of Motorhead and the wisdom Ringo Starr shared regarding the Guns N' Roses "Not In This Lifetime"  reunion concerts. 
Sorum also shares incredible stories behind couple iconic photographs: a photo of The Cult taken for NME magazine cover from 1989 & Guns N' Roses Rolling Stone magazine cover from 1991.
