In this episode of the LEGENDS: Podcast by All Day Vinyl, host Scott Dudelson sits down with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, co-founder and lead singer of The Hollies, Allan Clarke.

This in-depth interview takes us through the early days of Allan's musical journey with Graham Nash in the late 1950's, the formation of The Hollies, his experiences with legendary artists including The Rolling Stones (who he recorded with), The Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash and the incredible evolution of The Hollies during the 1960's and 1970's.

We discuss the creation of iconic hits like "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," "Bus Stop," "The Air That I Breathe," and "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," the impact of Graham Nash leaving the band in the late 60's and Allan's return to music in 2019 after nearly 30 years away from the scene.  And there is so much more in-between that we discuss.

Allan is one of the early innovators of rock and roll history and his story is amazing and so important to music history.  His music has brought me so much joy over the years and I loved chatting with him and I hope you also love the stories he shares, i was in awe listening to them.
